This collection was born from the very heart of my textile expertise, drawing on years of research, craft practice and a deep commitment to organic dyeing techniques. Each piece a sculptural silk accessory in its own right, was created using pure metallic silk organza, organically hand-dyed in small batches to achieve ethereal, shifting tones that could only ever be produced by hand.
The fabric was then hand-sculpted, coaxed into form through traditional textile manipulation techniques that celebrate texture, movement and light. To elevate the pieces further, I embellished them with carefully selected semi-precious stones such as Garnet, Rose Quartz, Jade and Moonstone, transforming each scarf into wearable quiet luxury.
The result was a complete collection of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces, each reflecting an interplay of materiality, sheen and artisanal precision. This body of work was proudly exhibited at London Fashion Week for the iconic Liberty label, where it was met with acclaim for its innovation and craftsmanship. Following the exhibition, the collection was retailed in Liberty’s London store, a testament to both its artistic merit and its alignment with Liberty’s heritage of celebrating pioneering textile design.
This collection remains one of the most meaningful expressions of my practice. A fusion of artistry, sustainable craft and fine materials, realised through methods that honour both tradition and innovation.
